Rules first#
Other people’s servers#
- Pick suitable communitiesServers about CS2, Dota 2, Rust, skin trading, cases. Look for active ones where there is constant conversation.
- Spend some time on the serverFor a few days just chat and help. That way you are remembered as one of them, not as an advertiser.
- Ask about advertisingMessage a moderator: “I would like to tell about a convenient service for selling skins — is it allowed and where?” Many servers allow it in a dedicated channel.
- Post in the allowed placeA short clear post without loud promises, a link with the label
?src=dc_servername.
Your own server#
Your own community is an asset: you set the rules and can share the link constantly.
- Topics: skin prices and trading, inventory appraisal, update news.
- The server’s job is value and conversation, not just advertising. Otherwise people will leave.
- The link to the service — in the pinned message and in a separate channel.

How to grow#
Invite subscribers from Telegram, YouTube and TikTok: “Inventory appraisal — on our server”.
Once a week — a giveaway or a contest for the best inventory. Fair terms, real prizes.
Exchange recommendations with similar communities.
Public Discord server lists bring a steady flow of newcomers.
How to help#
Appraisal on request
A person sends an inventory link or a screenshot, you name an approximate price and suggest what is better to sell. After that it is natural to offer the service.
Answers to common questions
Make a pinned collection: how the deal goes, how to create a request, where to write to support. Answer only with what you know for sure.
Dealing with distrust
If the question is “isn’t this a scam?” — do not take offense, show the process: screenshots, reviews, an explanation of where items are held and how the money arrives.
What to watch#
- Activity: how many people write per day, not how many are on the server in total.
- Visits under the
dc_*label and the share of requests. - Topics that draw the most replies — they are worth developing.
Common mistakes#
- Sending the link in private messages to members — that is spam and a ban.
- The same text in all server channels at once.
- An empty lifeless server: people have nothing to do there.
- Fake giveaways and promises of prizes that will not come.
