How to find bloggers, agree and not waste the budget

Bloggers and integrations

A blogger integration is advertising built into their content. It earns the audience’s trust, which an ordinary post cannot buy. Here is how to find suitable ones, what to offer and how to evaluate the result.

When it works#

  • The blogger’s audience already plays CS2, Dota 2 or Rust.
  • The blogger uses the skins and trading topic themselves, not reading an ad “off paper”.
  • The design is set up, support is fast and the deal process is clear — otherwise the traffic is wasted. See Design› and Support›.

Where to look#

Search on platforms

Type topic queries into YouTube and TikTok search: “skin prices”, “inventory appraisal”, “CS2 trading”.

Recommendations

See whom the platform suggests next to channels on the topic.

Topic chats

Communities of traders and players: people share bloggers’ contacts there.

Ad exchanges

Platforms where bloggers leave contacts and rates. Check reviews.

How to choose#

  1. Look at views, not subscribers
Take the last 10 videos and count average views. That is the real reach.
  2. Check engagement
Likes and comments relative to views. Live on-topic comments are a good sign.
  3. Judge the delivery
The blogger should speak calmly and honestly. Aggressive “buy-buy” pushes viewers away.
  4. Look at past advertising
If there is too much advertising, trust in the audience is low. If the blogger advertises carefully — an excellent option.

What to offer#

A flat fee per release

The simple scheme: you pay a pre-agreed amount for the integration. Fits proven bloggers with predictable reach. The risk — no guarantee of sales.

A percentage of deals

The blogger gets part of your payout from deals that came through their link. For them it is passive income, for you — no prepayment. Calculate the percentage so that you still profit after paying. Share formulas — in Share and tiers›.

Fee + percentage

A small fee for the release plus a percentage of the result. Motivates well: the blogger cares about both the quality of the integration and sales.

A promo code for the audience

A separate promo code› with a bonus for the blogger’s viewers. It gives a reason to follow the link at once and helps link deals to the blogger.

How to write the brief#

The more precise the agreement, the fewer disputes. In the brief specify:

  • Format: a dedicated video, an insert into a video, a post, a mention on stream.
  • What must be said: where the link is, that skins can be sold, how the deal goes.
  • What must not be said: guaranteed prices, “easy money”, comparisons with competitors without facts.
  • Where the link goes: description, pin, first comment.
  • Release date and how long the integration stays public.
  • Payment terms and what happens if the integration is removed early.
Give the blogger freedom in delivery. An integration in their own manner brings more than a read-out text.

How to track#

  • A separate label per blogger and per release: ?src=bl_nickname_1. See Traffic links›.
  • After 24–48 hours check visits, requests and deals.
  • Count the cost per deal: what you paid divided by the number of deals under the label. Compare it with the income per deal.
  • If it paid off — offer long-term cooperation on the same terms.

Common mistakes#

  • Paying a big blogger with a boosted audience.
  • Not giving a label and not counting the result.
  • Ordering many integrations at once without testing one.
  • Working without written agreements.
Advertising must be marked where platform rules and the law require it. Do not ask a blogger to pass off an integration as a random personal experience.
